Terms of Use

1. The App and your licence

The App is a free, informational companion for the Termux terminal emulator. We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to install and use the App for your own lawful use, subject to these Terms and the rules of the app store you obtained it from.

2. Not affiliated with Termux

Termux is a separate, free, open-source application developed and maintained by third parties. The App is an independent companion and is not affiliated with, endorsed by, sponsored by, or part of the Termux project or its maintainers. You obtain and install Termux yourself; the App simply helps you use it. All product names, logos and trademarks are the property of their respective owners.

3. Use the content at your own risk

The App provides commands, fixes and step-by-step recipes for educational and informational purposes. While we test recipes and mark them with a verification date, environments differ and software changes over time.

• You are solely responsible for any command you choose to run on your device.
• Commands can modify or delete files, install software, and use network and storage. Review what a command does before running it, and keep backups of anything important.
• A “verified” badge means a recipe was run on a real device on the date shown; it is not a guarantee of the outcome on your specific device or configuration.

4. Acceptable use — including the Security Lab

The App includes an optional, clearly-gated Security Lab with educational material about how common attacks work and how to defend against them. You agree to use this material lawfully and ethically:

• Only test systems and networks that you own or have explicit, documented permission to test.
• Do not use anything in the App to gain unauthorised access, disrupt services, or cause harm.
• Comply with all applicable laws in your jurisdiction.

You are responsible for how you apply what you learn. Misuse is a breach of these Terms and may be unlawful.

5. Intellectual property

The App, its design, and its original recipe content are owned by Teispace and protected by applicable laws. You may use the content within the App for your personal use; you may not scrape, resell, or redistribute it as your own product without permission.

6. Third-party services

The App is distributed through Google Play and uses Google Firebase for analytics and crash reporting, as described in our Privacy Policy. Your use of those services is also subject to their respective terms.

7. Disclaimer of warranties

The App is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including but not limited to merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the App or any recipe will be error-free, uninterrupted, or suitable for your particular device.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, Teispace will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential or punitive damages, or for any loss of data, devices, or profits, arising out of or related to your use of the App or the commands you choose to run, even if advised of the possibility of such damages.

9. Changes to the App and these Terms

We may update, change, or discontinue the App or these Terms at any time. Material changes to these Terms will be reflected by the “Last updated” date above. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the jurisdiction in which the publisher is established, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you may have that cannot be waived under applicable law.
